clssunset.jpg (114994 bytes)The Kabetogama/Voyageurs National Park area is a 4 season area with many
things to do but water is the main focus of the area!  Fish hundreds of miles
of shoreline and islands, cruise to the Kettle Falls damn or Crane Lake for lunch,
visit the Ellsworth Rock Gardens, travel up Ash River and view the rock cliffs on
your way to Ash River Falls or take a sunset cruise!

Water-skiing, shore lunches, knee boarding, hiking or relaxing in the sun are just a few things to do while
exploring our 5 major lakes.  And keep your eyes open for wildlife!  Deer feeding at the waters edge,
soaring bald eagles, osprey, loons, herons & ducks are common sites.

Our weather features warm summer days, cool nights and cold winters!  Spring and fall temperatures
run from 60's for highs and 30's for lows.  The 4 seasons are well represented in the Voyageurs Nat'l Park area!

Voyageurs National Park

Established in 1975, Minnesota’s only national park commemorates a key stretch of
waterway canoed by 18th century French-Canadian Voyageurs who transported
goods and furs along the international border lakes.  Modern-day “Voyageurs” still
travel the waterways as the best means of exploring the park.
